Eucalyptus oil is probably one of the best-known essential oils used in aromatherapy and inhalations. Its scent refreshes, deodorises and clears the mind. In cosmetic products, the oil keeps the skin moist and youthfully radiant and is therefore well suited for dry or mature skin types. Because of its refreshing character, it is also often added to aftershaves.

The organic oil mixes well with: pine, thyme, lavender, lemongrass, rosemary, marjoram, cedarwood, lemon, orange, bergamot, lime, grapefruit, niaouli and peppermint.

Interesting facts: the eucalyptus tree is a magnificent deciduous tree that grows up to 90 m tall. Young trees have oval, blue-green leaves, while older trees have narrower and longer, yellowish leaves, creamy-white flowers, and pale grey bark. The tree is native to Australia and nowadays also grows in Spain and Portugal.
