Description

Lavender oil is particularly popular in cosmetic products because of its soothing properties, especially for impure skin types. The oil also has a wonderfully relaxing and regenerating effect when used as an additive for after-sun products or products that soothe insect bites.

The organic oil mixes well with camphor, niaouli, cajeput, cedar, eucalyptus, pine needle, geranium, helichrysum, orange, lemon, tangerine, lemongrass, lime, tangerine, bergamot, grapefruit, eucalyptus and peppermint.

Interesting facts: Lavender is an evergreen, bushy plant that grows up to a meter. It has light green, narrow leaves and numerous tiny lilac-blue flowers. Lavender grows well in dry areas, is native to the western Mediterranean and is now cultivated in many areas of Europe, as well as North America, Australia, Japan and New Zealand. Lavender is known as a spice and decoration, but it is mainly used to extract the essential oil.
