Interesting facts: Melissa is also known as lemon balm. It is a green shrub with fragrant leaves and grows mainly in the Mediterranean region. When cultivated outdoors, it reaches a height of up to 150 cm and, in summer, it bears many small white flowers full of nectar that attract bees. The leaves are often used in a fresh or dried state in soft drinks or teas.
