The Roman chamomile essential oil has a delicate aroma and calming properties. It is ideal for aromatherapy and skincare. Roman chamomile is ideal for those that are sensitive to obtrusive scents and can be used on all skin types.
The organic oil mixes well with: geranium, rose, lavender, neroli, clary sage, patchouli, ylang-ylang, bergamot, frankincense and nutmeg.
Interesting facts: Roman chamomile is an perrenial plant that forms part of the daisy family. It is primarily found in central Europe where it grows at lower altitudes and in well-drained soils. In ancient Egypt, it was a sacred plant dedicated to the sun god Ra and has been held in high esteem for 4, 000 years.
