Lungwort
The lung herb, also called oak moss, comes from the family of the leaf lichen and is mainly native to Eastern Europe, the Balkans, France and Morocco. In personal care, it is antibacterial, antiseptic and soothing and can also be used to treat sore skin. The oil also provides a natural carrier for perfumes.
In aromatherapy, it is relaxing and promotes sleep, but also is slightly aphrodisiac.
