Description

Obtained from the blossoms of Tuscan lavandin lavender by steam distillation, this oil is natural and of high quality. Its aroma is rich, round, delicately herbaceous and is often used in aromatherapy and body care.

The main difference to other types of lavender can be found on a chemical level: in lavandin, the content of camphor and 1,8-cineole is usually higher, while the content of linalyl acetate is lower.

Application:

In moderate doses, lavandin oil is considered neither sensitising nor an irritant.
Blend it with a carrier oil for massages.
Add to DIY cosmetics to care for problem skin types.
Ideal in cold compresses for bruises or in hot compresses for neck pain.
Use as a shampoo additive or scalp care for dandruff.
Use as a room fragrance or in an inhalation mixture during flu season.
Sprinkle on animal fur to keep parasites at bay.

Note: Store in a cool, dry place away from light and sources of heat.
