Description

Ubtan is a tried and tested Indian recipe that cleanses the hair whilst preserving the health of the skin for a rejuvenated appearance. A blend of different flours that contain natural saponins which provide a natural cleansing action. Ayurvedic herbs are responsible for the powder's pleasant fragrance.

Hair: Neem is ideal for oily hair and scalp types thanks to its refreshing and sebum-regulating effect. It strengthens the hair and provides excellent cleansing action.

Application:

  • Mix the powder with lukewarm water until a uniform paste is formed. The paste should not be too thick. Apply the paste to the scalp whilst damp using gentle circular motions.
  • Apply the paste to the lengths of the hair, leave it on for 5 - 10 minutes then rinse thoroughly.
  • Doing a final acid rinse ensures added shine and softness.

Skin: Ideal for oily, impure and combination skin types - provides a gentle exfoliating effect.

Application:

  • Mix the powder with lukewarm water until a uniform paste is formed. The paste should not be too thick.
  • Use as a cleansing or detoxifying face mask by massaging the paste on the face. Leave it on for 5 minutes then rinse.
