Description
The Sun Sticks by EQ were developed for extreme sun exposure (outdoor sporting activities such as Alpine, winter and water sports). Lips, skin and sensitive areas are protected against the harmful effects of the sun thanks to high mineral filters. Their upbeat colours make them ideal to use for the whole family.
The EQ Sun Sticks uses valuable organic calophyllum oil to protect against skin damage caused by the effects of the sun. The formulation also cares for the skin thanks to valuable oils and shea butter, leaving behind a silky smooth feel, and does not dry the skin. The texture also protects from the cold, wind and salt water, which prevents unpleasant feelings of tension and chapped skin.

This product is quite hard to apply. It's easy enough to take the stick and put it on your skin, but if you want to spread the product out a bit, it's very difficult to do so. As the product is very visible (I have the gold coloured one, and my skin is caramel coloured), this does not look very good. I use it on my feet and it does work, but due to the reasons stated above, I won't buy it again.

I bought the gold shimmer. I am using it everyday together with the violet and green sticks. I like the high spf which is necessary in Singapore. I like it that it is pigmented and works like a contour with all the natural ingredients. I use the violet to highlight and brighten my skin and green to neutralise my redness. Finally the gold shimmer around my eyes to distract the dark eye rings and fine lines. I can't part with them now.

Adds a really nice yet very subtle shimmer (I have the gold one) which instantly glams up the area, the SPF protection is also great.

Not that easy to apply and also, the colour gets lost on me. I thought it would maybe be a little bit of colour that would not be that visible when applied to your skin. I was wrong.
I now put a little bit on my fingers and mix it with something else like shea butter or some oil to make it easier.Was this rating helpful? (9) (0)

STAYS ON in the water, even after hours. But I only use this on my LIPS in the summer when I work as a kitesurf instructor. Its the only product I've ever found which actually stays on during intense water activity. I've tried every other SPF lipbalm on the planet, none of them stay on long enough to protect me all day. After years of painful blisters and sunburns on my lips, this product has finally given me relief. I only need to apply it once and I'm protected all day. I wish I could use it on the rest of my face but unfortunately it causes breakouts of my facial skin, but thats understandable because it needs to have certain ingredients to be able to stay on and stay waterproof. So 5 stars as a waterproof, stay-on lipbalm product... If I was rating it as a facial sunblock I'd give it 2 stars because its too pore clogging for facial skin. But if you have really dry skin or no issues with breakouts then I would highly recommend also for facial skin like nose and cheeks as well as lips.
