Great foam cleanser, but can be drying

Hmmm....I didn't really want to spend just under £40 as cleansers only last me about 3 months but I couldn't resist the cucumber and aloe as they sounded so hydrating. I normally use milk or creams as I find foam cleansers too drying and now I am in my 30s I need something more hydrating. This is a gel and when water is added it foams. I need 1-2 pumps for my face. I find it very gentle but it does dry my skin. So if I don't apply moisturiser immediately my skin feels stripped. It stings if it gets in my eyes and tastes yucky but its not bad at all, i just think the foam is not doing anything for my combination skin, in face it can be so drying it actually seems to encourage blackheads as my skin is producing more oil. If you have oily skin or always use foams I would recommend this. Also, I asked 100% Pure three times if this had essential oils in as I am sensitive to them, they said no 3 times and I said please can you double check and they came back and said it did (their customer service is not very helpful!) so the natural flavours listed are essential oils and vanilla in case anyone is interested. I find I am going through this quite quickly as you can only get a full pump at a time it won't pump a bit out so I think it would only last me around 3 months which is quite an expense. The glass bottle is lovely but again the pump is a bit iffy, I wouldn't be surprised if it breaks.
