Description
Genmaicha is much appreciated for its slightly nutty taste with a delicate hint of caramel. This fine organic Genmaicha comes from one of the best growing areas for high quality Sencha: Wazuka in the famous Uij area of Japan. It was harvested in May 2021 giving this Sencha a mild character. Preparation in a Kyusu pot is recommended, but not necessary.
Tip: This elegant Sencha can be infused several times! Professionals choose a maximum water temperature of 70 °C and prefer the following brewing time intervals: 1st infusion - 60 seconds. 2nd-3rd infusion 10-30 seconds.
