I used it with the intention to cover my gray hairs, because it had good reviews. I have chemically-treated hair and I wanted to transition to natural hair dyes. Unfortunately, it did not cover my gray roots at all, even though I followed the instructions. I did 2 consecutive applications and waited first for 1h, then for 2h. Zero coverage on gray hairs, and my previously bleached hair got a dark red tint. Luckily I only tried on a hair strand. I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it does condition the hair well and it seems to be a good quality product (fine powder, makes a good, manageable paste).
